BRYNDEN PERKINS
Vertebrate Paleontologist
I am a vertebrate paleontologist pursuing my PhD at Virginia Tech and working with Dr. Sterling Nesbitt. I am primarily interested in using the fossil record to unravel the origins of major vertebrate clades. Currently, my research focuses on the early radiation of the dinosauriforms (i.e., the dinosaurs and their closest relatives), with a particular interest in silesaurids.

My goal is to become a university professor, so that I can inspire the next generation of scientists, all while doing research that can make that possible in the first place.
